    QUICK NOTES

 St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

 “Nourishing your spiritual journey”

Have you ever noticed someone in church who seems to be having a problem with the prayer book or with the order of service?
What a perfect opportunity to extend a welcome by offering to help.

Have you ever noticed someone in your pew whom you’ve never seen before?     Another opportunity to extend a welcome, especially during the Peace and at the end of the service.

Remember the phrase in our Vision Statement;     “We are welcoming…”    Let us all breathe life into our Vision Statement.

 St. Andrew’s Vision Statement

“St. Andrew’s is a peaceful and loving church, unified through worship of God in Christ.    We are in touch with our neighbors and are actively working to meet their spiritual needs.   We are welcoming and relevant to our multi-cultural and diverse communtiy, with respect for all, through worship, education, outreach and the arts.”

OUTREACH GROCERY BAGS

The Outreach Commission is once again going to make grocery bags with lists available in the narthex.    The list offers suggestions of foods needed by our Food Pantry.  The Food Pantry is going to return to the Office Building.    So, anytime you are at the church during the week or on Sundays, bags of groceries may be left in that building.

We have many families that come to St. Andrew’s on Thursday afternoons who are in need of a bag of groceries.   Your contributions are truly needed and welcomed.
