MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP

Tweens and teens in grades 6-8 meet about twice a month, normally on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. Play games like human foosball and enjoy time with friends. This group shares experiences and supports one another as Christians. Events during the year include bowling, car washes, holiday parties, and more. 

sr. high YOuth Group

Sr. High Youth meets about twice a month normally on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. We try to take a fun trip every year, every other year we try to go out of state. In past years we have gone to Philadelphia and Boston. We play lots of fun games together, and The Interactive Body of Christ is a great one for laughs.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES

Confirmation is the public affirmation of our faith. For seven sessions the clergy will lead a class on basic Christian beliefs, some church history, Episcopal worship, and biblical study.  For the youth there is also a Youth Happening retreat. This is a perfect class if you are joining the Episcopal Church from another tradition, or if you would like a refresher on your faith as it is lived out in the Episcopal Church.  The class starts in February and prepares you for the bishop’s visit on a Sunday in April of 2023.  

YOUTH HAPPENINGS

Happenings is presented by teenagers, for teenagers, with the help of clergy and lay adult leadership from across the diocese. Students from 9th thru 12th grades are invited to consider various aspects of their life, their relationship with God in Christ, and their response to God. The cost is about $85, and scholarships are available.
