online Bible study

Fr. Spencer will be facilitating an online Bible study with a discussion group on the fourth Sunday of the month. Past classes have been An Introduction to the Bible, The Psalms, and The Gospels. Each class takes about 50 minutes plus the discussion time

Forums

Some Sundays betwen the services. Past topics have been, The Episcopal Church during the American Revolution, Advent Readings through Art, and The Book of Revelation and The Wizard of Oz.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Stephen Ministers are volunteer lay persons trained to assist the clergy in the care and nurturing of a congregation. As a lay person, a Stephen Minister has received more than 50 hours of instruction in providing confidential care through a Christian perspective.

RECTOR'S BIBLE STUDY

Anyone is welcome, and no previous knowledge of Scripture is expected as we gather for an informal, friendly and informative study of the Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday.  If you don’t have a Bible, we’ll supply one for you.

BOOK GROUP

Oral History by Lee Smith, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, The Jane Austen Book Club, The History of Love, Big Stone Gap, and Firefly Lane are just some of the books that this lively group has enjoyed discussing. Read a good book and join this group. 

LENTEN PROGRAM

Wednesday evenings in Lent we enjoy a simple soup supper and good fellowship as we explore a Lenten theme through study.
