THE REV. SPENCER POTTER, Rector

Fr. Spencer, has been Rector of St Andrew's since February of 2009. He has served churches in Palm Beach Gardens, and New York City. He has also been a Director of Family Religious Education and an Assistant Director of an Episcopal Summer Camp. He is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary. Fr. Spencer enjoys preaching, pastoral care, outreach, and learning with people of all ages. He pretty much enjoys everything about church. Sunday is his favorite day of the week. He is married to the love of his life Erin and together they have one son, Riley. He enjoys walking to the ocean, road trips and catching the occasional Montreal Canadiens hockey game or concert.
THE REV. GEORGE R. RONKOWITZ, Priest Associate
Fr. Ronkowitz began his ordained ministry in 1971 as a Roman Catholic Priest in Connecticut. He served for over eight years in parish ministry. He was received as an Episcopal priest in 1988. At that time he began functioning as a bi-vocational or “worker” priest. He also worked as the Executive Director of the Naugatuck Connecticut Housing Authority of which he served until April 2002. He and his family moved to Homestead, FL to serve as Rector and Headmaster of St. John’s Church and School. He joined St. Andrew's in 2013. His wife, Janice, died of cancer in 2007. Fr. George has been recently married to his lovely bride, Lana. He and Lana have four adult children.
THE REV. MAJOR, DAVID WAWARU, Associate Priest
A twenty year veteran and retired U.S. military Chaplin, Fr. Wawaru is original from just outside of Nairobi, Kenya. Both he and his wife, Chris are Episcopal clergy. Chris is the Chaplin at the Federal Detention Center on Krome Avenue. Together he and his wife have two adult sons.
DR. KEN BOOS, Choir Director
Dr. Ken Boos has been the Director of the Choir at St. Andrew's since 2001. In addition to his ministry at St. Andrew's, Dr. Boos also conducts the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami, and is a Professor of Music at the Kendall Campus of Miami Dade College. He has held this position at the college since 1987 and has served in the past as Chair of the Performing Arts Department and Associate Dean for the School of Arts and Letters for 18 years. Dr. Boos holds a Doctorate in Choral Conducting from the University of Miami, a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Heidelberg College.
KRISAN LAMBERTI, Sunday School Director
Krisan joined the staff of St. Andrew’s as the Director of Family Education in June 2017, while continuing to serve as the South Dade Deanery Youth Coordinator and Lay Director of Happening. Krisan is also a Mentor for Education for Ministry, a Lay Eucharistic Visitor, and certified in both Godly Play and Journey to Adulthood. She enjoys helping others discover their personal relationship with God and how to pray with their bodies, minds, and spirits. Her summers are spent at Camp Little House leading Girl Scouts to new discoveries. In her spare time she enjoys dancing with her husband, Dominic, and listening to him sing Barbershop Harmony with The Miamians. They have three grown daughters and two grandsons which keep them very busy and young at heart.
ALLISON KOWLESSAR, Director of Outreach and Pastoral Care
Allison first came to St. Andrew's in February of 2009. She is a trained Clinical Social Worker. She has worked as a Disability Services Coordinator at Barry University for the past 10 years. She considers St. Andrew's a wonderful place for her to serve God.
MARION SCOTT, Organist
Marion Scott joined the Music Department as the Sunday Organist at St. Andrew's in the Spring of 2011. Marion Scott made his debut at the age of 14 under the baton of Roger Nuremberg. Since that time, Mr. Scott has established himself as a leader among a new generation of young pianists. In 2006 his musicality and technical prowess earned first prize at the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition and second prize at the Zimmerli Foundation International Piano Competition. Most recently, Mr. Scott was named the winner of the 2010 International Piano Competition hosted by the Steinway Society of Massachusetts. Mr. Scott holds a Masters Degree from the Juilliard School and a Bachelors Degree from the Eastman School of Music. Mr. Scott is married to the brilliant and beautiful pianist Rosa Villar. Together, they enjoy performing duo concerts and making wonderful music. They have two lovely daughters.
SHIRLEY WILLIAMS, Parish Administrator
Shirley Williams joined St. Andrews in November of 2016 and is excited to be a part of the St. Andrews family. Shirley comes with over 25 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing and office administration. She was a top print advertising sales associate at Blynn, Richards & Associates. She continued in the advertising arena until the birth of her second daughter Leah who is now 13. Abigail, her oldest, who is 17, will be attending FSU in the Fall of 2017. Shirley has spent the past 10 years as an educator, administrator and programming advisor for religious organizations. She holds an Associates of Arts in Business, and an Associates of Science in Education.
RITA ANSON, Bookkeeper
Rita Anson and her family have been attending St. Andrew's since 2012. She has served as bookkeeper since 2014. Rita is married to J.D. Anson, who serves on our church Vestry. They have two children, Lucas & Carly. Rita is very active in her South Miami community. The children attend Ludlam Elementary - where Rita is serving a two-year sentence as PTA President. "Working at St. Andrew's has been the best experience, " says Rita. "There is such a feeling of team and helping each other; it is rare. It is a pleasure to work in this office, and to serve my church in this capacity."
ERIN POTTER, Director of Parish Life
Erin Potter happily works as the (volunteer) Director for Parish Life! Erin grew up in the Episcopal Church and feels very at home doing this job! If you ever want to get involved in parish events and all the fun stuff that goes with that (and it really is fun!) please contact Erin anytime! Erin is originally from New York City, and thinks pizza might be the greatest invention of all time (...if it can be legitimately called an invention). Erin got her BA in English from Flagler College and her MS in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. Erin passionately enjoys reading, museums, and adventures of all kinds! Erin loves being wife to Fr. Spencer and mom to Riley! (She also loves coffee hour...because who doesn't love dessert after breakfast, but before lunch???)
