Fr. Spencer, has been the Rector of St Andrew's since January 25, 2009. He has served churches in Palm Beach Gardens, and New York City.  He has also been a Director of Family Religious Education and an Assistant Director of an Episcopal Summer Camp.  He is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary. Fr. Spencer enjoys preaching, pastoral care, outreach, and learning with people of all ages. He is a doctoral candidate in Practical Theology at Palm Beach Atlantic University.  He pretty much enjoys everything about church. Sunday is his favorite day of the week. He is married to the love of his life Erin and together they have one son, Riley. He enjoys walking to the ocean,  road trips, and catching the occasional Montreal Canadiens hockey game or concert.

THE REV. GEORGE R. RONKOWITZ, Priest Associate

Fr. Ronkowitz began his ordained ministry in 1971 as a Roman Catholic Priest in  Connecticut.  He served for over eight years in parish ministry. He was received as an Episcopal  priest in 1988. At that time he began functioning as a bi-vocational or “worker” priest. He also worked as the Executive Director of the Naugatuck Connecticut Housing Authority of which he served until April 2002. He and his family moved to Homestead, FL to serve as Rector and Headmaster of St. John’s Church and School. His wife, Janice, died of cancer in 2007. He joined St. Andrew's in 2013. Fr. George has been recently married to his lovely bride, Lana.  He and Lana have four adult children.

 
 

MICHAEL COLAVITA, Music Director

Michael Colavita is an accomplished choral performer, conductor, composer, and educator. Before becoming choral director of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and Miami Arts Charter High School, he was choral director of Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, TN. He first studied choral conducting and instrumental conducting at Washington and Lee University, where he earned the dual degrees of a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. He then obtained his MM in Choral Conducting at the University of Louisville. There, he directed the university’s men’s chorus, Singing Cardsmen, and performed with the Cardinal Singers and the Louisville Chamber Choir. Recently, he received his second master’s degree through Louisville, a Masters in Music Education (MME). Michael has performed with and conducted choirs in a wide variety of domestic and international settings, including Korea, Sweden, Ireland, and Thailand.

KRISAN LAMBERTI, Sunday School Director

Krisan Lamberti joined the staff of St. Andrew’s as the Director of the Sunday School in June 2017, while continuing to serve as the South Dade Deanery Youth Coordinator and Lay Director of Happening. Krisan is also a Mentor for Education for Ministry, a Lay Eucharistic Visitor, and certified in both Godly Play and Journey to Adulthood. She enjoys helping others discover their personal relationship with God and how to pray with their bodies, minds, and spirits. Her summers are spent at Camp Little House leading Girl Scouts to new discoveries. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing with her husband, Dominic, and listening to him sing Barbershop Harmony with The Miamians. They have three grown daughters and two grandsons which keep them very busy and young at heart.

 
 

ANDREW KRYSTOPOLSKI, Organist

Andrew and his husband Kevin have been attending St. Andrew's since 2018, and have been married since 2010. He is originally from Wilmington, Delaware. Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in sacred music from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He has worked as an organist and choir director at a number of churches. Andrew truly loves church music, but he also has another musical love, polka. In his spare time, he volunteers as an IJ (internet DJ) for an online polka radio network, and is the founder and president of the South Florida Polka Association. Andrew has also volunteered and helped at St. Andrew’s over the years at church events like Alpha, the Yard Sale, the Nickel Social, the church Christmas decorating parties, and he also sings with the choir whenever he can.

 
 

ANITA RAMIREZ DYCHES, Parish Administrator

Anita is very happy to be a part of St. Andrew’s parish staff. She and her husband, Jim, live in Palmetto Bay where they raised their family and volunteered for many years in the local schools, church, and various sports. She enjoys traveling, tennis, hiking, piano, and spending time with family and friends. Please stop by the office to say hello! I look forward to meeting all the parishioners.

KATHIE BRYAN, Bookkeeper

Kathie Bryan and her family have been attending St. Andrews since 2015. Kathie has recently accepted the bookkeeping position. Kathie lives in Cutler Bay with her son (Jerrett) and two grand daughters (Madison and Eva). Kathie retired after working for the Miami Herald for 18 years. Many of those years were spent in the Florida Keys as Financial Director for the weekly newspapers. "I am very excited to be taking on this new responsibility“ says Kathie. "St Andrews is so welcoming and it will be my pleasure to serve the church in a way that will put my experience to the best use.”

 
 

ERIN POTTER, Volunteer Director of Parish Life

Erin Potter works as the volunteer Director of Parish Life, leads the Middle School and High School Youth Groups, heads up the ushers, and is often found working in the parish office. She and Father Spencer have been happily married since 2002, and have one son, Riley, who was born in 2007.  Erin grew up in the Episcopal Church and feels very at home doing the various work she does for St. Andrew’s.  If you ever want to get involved in parish events, and all the great stuff that goes with that, please contact Erin anytime.  Erin has a BA in English from Flagler College and an MS in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University.  Erin passionately enjoys painting, baking, cooking, reading, museums, and adventures of all kinds!
